I originally started this blog on another site and migrated to WordPress a few years ago. I used this space to share my thoughts on the things I read. However, in 2009, my professional life took a dramatic turn when I became Director of the Rochester Public Library and Monroe County Library System in Rochester NY.
As my life became busier and busier, I continued to read, but stopped writing about that reading. Which, as I reflect, pretty much meant I stopped *thinking about* and *reflecting* on what I read.
I have resolved to slow things down as much as possible and to once again savor the written word and share it with my friends.
So, I am relaunching this blog. I hope you will join me again on my literary adventures.
